Runamok Maple is a family-owned, Vermont-based company rooted in premium, organic maple syrup that has grown into a diverse line of maple and honey-based products. Founded in 2016 by former bulk maple producers Eric and Laura Sorkin, along with partner Curt Alpeter, the company set out to redefine what maple syrup could be.

While not the first to experiment with infusing and barrel-aging maple syrup, Runamok pushed the concept further than anyone had before — crafting bold, unexpected flavors and expanding maple's use beyond the breakfast table, from cocktails to marinades, desserts to cheese pairings.

With elegant packaging, innovative flavor profiles, and the highest quality ingredients, Runamok's traditional, infused, smoked, and barrel-aged maple made waves in the food world — landing features on Oprah's Favorite Things and in publications like Saveur and Food & Wine. In 2020, the company launched a line of maple-based cocktail mixers and bitters, and has since expanded into raw varietal, infused, and hot honeys.

Today, Runamok products are sold in over 2,100 stores nationally and internationally, as well as through their website and Amazon. Their operations are headquartered in a 55,000-square-foot facility in Fairfax — the former site of a Scrabble tile factory — housing manufacturing, warehousing, and administration under one roof.
